Yoga, Meditation and Fitness Classes Offered in Sparks

Take part in one of the following yoga/fitness classes offered this spring and summer through Sparks Parks and Recreation. Register online at sparksrec.com, email recinfo@cityofsparks.us or call (775) 353-2376.

SUNDAY YOGA
Get a total body workout that enhances strength, cardiovascular conditioning, balance, and flexibility. This class focuses on connecting breath with Yoga. These traditional and non-traditional techniques give the participant a fun experience that works the muscles and clears the mind of stress. Loose fitting clothes and Yoga mat required. Instructor is Marla Richardson.
WHO: Adults, 10 yrs. & Older
WHEN: Sundays
TIME: Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
WHERE: Art In Motion, 129 Los Altos Parkway, Ste. 111

MINDFUL YOGA BASICS
Serenity now! Instructor Dar Shawver will teach you Yoga poses, breathing techniques and meditation practices to help increase strength, flexibility and concentration as well as reduce stress. All levels are welcome. Please bring a Yoga mat to class.
WHO: Everyone, 18 yrs. & Older
WHEN: Wednesdays
TIME: 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
WHERE: Larry D. Johnson Community Center, 1200 12th Street
