Camp Programs Offered During School Breaks

Our spring, summer, fall and winter break programs feature fun-themed weeks with age appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, swimming, field trips, bowling, active games, Wild Island water slides and golf, skating, special guests, and more! These activities are included in the registration fee. Children will truly benefit from this recreation experience by meeting new friends and having FUN in a safe environment. We attempt to maintain a 10:1 participant to staff ratio for the younger age groups and a 12:1 ratio for the older age groups. Next up is the Year-Round School Break Program. Click here for more details. Please note: An Emergency Information form (pdf or fillable pdf) must be submitted in person with picture ID at the Recreation office prior to the start of the program. The office is located at 98 Richards Way. Hours of operation are Monday – Thursday.

SUMMER DAY CAMPS
Summer is coming soon! Check out the programs we offer including Summer Adventure for ages 3 to 6, Summer Outburst for Kindergarten-4th grade, and the NEW! SO2 Camp for 5th-7th grade. Our summer programs feature fun-themed weeks! Daily activities are included in the registration fee. Children will truly benefit from this recreation experience by meeting new friends and having FUN in a safe environment. 

SUMMER OUTBURST
WHO: Youth, entering 1-4th grade (2019/20 school year)
WHEN: Monday – Friday (see table below for sessions)
TIME: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
WHERE: Recreation Gym
COST: $156 / $130 Resident Discount per session
Late fee: $10 applied for ‘week of’ registrations/full week
DROP-IN: $48 / $40 Resident Discount per day
Drop-in (or single day) registration begins the Thursday before the desired session when space is available (not available online).
NOTE: A new Emergency Information form must be completed at the time of registration. Online registration begins June 11 and is open from 12:00 p.m. on Mondays to 12:00 p.m. on Fridays prior to the week of attendance, and is open anytime for future weeks thereafter. ‘Week of’ registration not available online.

SUMMER ADVENTURE

NEW! SO2 CAMP
New for summer 2019! This program is for students entering 5th – 7th grade in the 2019 – 2020 school year. Located upstairs in the Teen Club at the Larry D. Johnson Community Center, the program will feature age appropriate activities including pool, ping pong, foosball, arts and crafts, active games, field trips and more. The program will join with the Summer Outburst program participants for some activities including roller skating, the movie theater, and the water park.
