Road Closure Notice: 8th Annual PumpkinPalooza

Sparks, NV – More than 20,000 moms, dads, kids, grandparents, and more take over Victorian Square for Nevada’s largest Pumpkin Celebration on October 20, 2019. This magic-filled day is stuffed full of activities including Nevada’s only Pumpkin Derby, the PumpkinPalooza Midway, Pumpkin Beauty Salon, Family Costume Parade, Haunted Storytelling, Live Music, 70+ Vendors + Food Trucks, Pie Eating, Mummy Wrapping, Seed Spitting, & So, So, So Much More! Featured in Food Network Magazine as one of the Top Fall Events in the Country, this community focused celebration began with Northern Nevada Center for Independent Living’s (NNCIL) vision for generating awareness for its organization by igniting the imagination of kids and adults of all ages. The first year attracted just over 1,500 people and has since grown into one of Northern Nevada’s largest events. And it all benefits the Northern Nevada Center for Independent Living.
