City of Sparks to Reopen City Hall to Public June 1, 2021
Sparks, NV – Sparks City Hall, 431 Prater Way, will reopen to the public on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services have been offered online or by appointment only since March 2020.
“It’s been more than a year since our customer service counter has been open to the public,” said Mayor Ed Lawson. “We are thrilled that we can once again offer in person services to our residents and customers.”
Customers that have received their COVID-19 vaccine will not be required to wear masks while visiting City Hall. In person services include:
- Sewer payments
- Business license applications and renewals
- Building permits
- Planning and land-use matters
- Public records requests
- Passport services (by appointment only)
Online services will also continue to be available.
Beginning June 14, Sparks City Council meetings will also be held in person at the Sparks Legislative Building (745 4th Street). For more information, please call (775) 353-5555.
