City of Sparks Employees to Honor President George H.W. Bush Tomorrow

**UPDATE: Due to weather, moment of silence will be delayed to 9:00 am this morning.

Sparks, NV – This morning at 9:00 am, City of Sparks employees will gather to honor President George H.W. Bush.

“We want to show our respect for the 41st President of the United States,” said Sparks Mayor Ron Smith. “On the National Day of Mourning for President George H.W. Bush, we will be gathering in the courtyard of Sparks City Hall to honor this great man with 41-seconds of silence.” 

All City of Sparks offices will be open tomorrow. Flags are being flown at half-staff until sunset on December 30, 2018.
