Deadline for Submitting Ideas to Park Naming Committee for Two New Parks & Amphitheater

The City of Sparks Parks and Recreation Department is in the process of developing two new neighborhood parks. Both park sites are located in the Foothills at Wingfield, one on Truth Drive and the other on Black Hills Drive. Both parks are in the early stages of design and the City of Sparks is interested in obtaining ideas from the community on naming each site.

Additionally, with the community’s input, new names will be considered for the amphitheater located in Victorian Square.

Park naming forms (below) must be received by the Parks and Recreation Office, 98 Richards Way, no later than Wednesday, September 19. Office hours are Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Forms are also available at the office.
