The City of Sparks ushered in the holiday season on Dec. 2-3, with a Truckee Meadows tradition – the Sparks Hometowne Christmas event, presented by Intuit. The celebration marked the 25^th anniversary of the Victorian Square event known for its focus on family.  The theme was “A Silver Jubilee – Celebrating 25 Years” and the festivities included the annual tree lighting ceremony and parade. Sparks Mayor Geno Martini served as the official grand marshal.  of the parade.
