Youth Sports

Youth sports are one of the fastest growing recreation programs nationwide – and the same holds true for the City of Sparks. The Sparks Parks and Recreation Department has built a solid program through the years with a variety of leagues, clinics and camps designed to promote good sportsmanship, teamwork and skill development for children of all ages and abilities. Following are upcoming programs that can be viewed here.

NNJ VOLLEYBALL

NNJ Volleyball All Skills Clinics – ages 7 to 14, ongoing monthly

NNJ Volleyball Fall League – 1st – 8th grade, September 11 – October18

BASKETBALL

Mini Basketball League – ages Kindergarten to 2nd grade, October 10 – November 14

34th Annual Youth Basketball League – 3rd – 6th grade, January 16 – March 1, 2018

TENNIS

Pee Wee Tennis – ages 4 to 6, ongoing monthly May – July

Little Tennis – ages 3 to 6, ongoing monthly May – August

Tennis Lessons – ages 7 to 12, ongoing monthly May – July

Quickstart Tennis Program Levels 1 & 2 – ages 7 to 16, ongoing monthly May – October

Summer Tennis Camps – ages 7 to 16, ongoing monthly June – July

Summer Match Play – ages 7 to 16, ongoing monthly June – July

Pre-Season Prep Camp – ages 13 to 18, July sessions

Pre-Season Mini League – ages 13 to 18, July sessions

Just for Kicks Soccer Camp – ages 3 to 6, June 13 – 29
