Housing Program

Your home is often your biggest investment.  Improving living conditions and extending the life of your home is extremely important.  The City of Sparks Housing Rehabilitation Program is here to assist qualifying, low income individuals and families with their homes.

The Reno Housing Authority is the designated administrative body for loan programs, grants, and affordable housing information for City of Sparks, City of Reno and Washoe County.  Please contact Julia Acosta, FSS Coordinator, at (775) 329 – 3630, ext. 243 for information.

In 2008, the City adopted the Housing Element which presents current and future housing needs of the City.  These 2008 documents are still current today, with updates anticipated in 2016.
