For decades, the City of Sparks has been committed to the arts in our community. Our City boasts beautiful public art projects and arts education classes. Our special events host musical acts that engage young and old alike.

In 2016, Mayor Martini and city council enacted a new Arts and Culture Advisory Committee to advise city leadership on opportunities that will encourage the celebration of the city with art and humanities. Check back frequently to see more projects added here. We’ll tell you how to get involved, where things are happening, and how to communicate with us on your projects.

New projects!

The Arts and Culture Advisory Committee is rolling up their sleeves and getting to work. After conducting 5 public input meetings, they are beginning to form a 3-year plan that will set out objectives for the city to accomplish in Arts programming, Public Art, Asset Inventory and check this site for their work and how to give your input.
