MISSION STATEMENT
The MISSION of the Sparks Parks and Recreation Department is to provide for the health, inspiration and recreation opportunities for the people of Sparks through the creation and maintenance of high quality programs, facilities and community special events. Dedication and preservation of natural resources will insure the opportunity for high quality leisure experiences for generations to come.

Commission meetings are scheduled quarterly on the fourth Wednesday of each month in the City Council Chambers, 5:30 p.m. Citizens are encouraged to attend these public meetings.
