PLEASE NOTE: PLEASE NOTE:  The pool area at Alf Sorensen Community Center will remain closed for renovations to provide architectural upgrades to the ceiling and improve the overall year-round indoor temperature, humidity, ventilation, and lighting of the pool area through January, 2015.  The facility's Small Wonders preschool, gymnasium and fitness center will remain open during this time. Fall swim lessons have been relocated to Deer Pool, 1700 Prater Way.  

The City of Sparks aquatic programs provide opportunities for fitness, skill development, rehabilitation and recreational fun. A variety of classes take place year-round at the Alf Sorensen Community Center. During the summer months, swim lessons are also conducted at the outdoor pool at Deer Park, 1700 Prater Way.

 

Recreational swimming is available at Alf Sorensen pool, Deer Park pool (seasonally) and in the designated swim area at the Sparks Marina (seasonally) located at 300 Howard Dr. Please note: Oppio Park pool is permanently closed.
