Sparks, NV- The following are highlights from today’s Sparks City Council Meeting:
Sparks City Council approved reimbursement to the City of Reno for the City of Sparks’ share of capital improvements being made to the Truckee Meadow Water Reclamation facility (TMWRF) not to exceed $792,406.20. The council also approved reimbursement to the City of Reno for the City of Sparks’ share of a consulting agreement for construction management services at TMWRF not to exceed $93,137.22
Sparks City Council also approved agreements negotiated by Nevada Health Partners (NHP) with Tahoe-Pacific Hospital, University of Utah, Carson-Tahoe Health Services and Northern Nevada Medical Center for medical services provided to employees, dependents and retirees covered by the City of Sparks Group Health Plan and authorized the City Manager to execute the participation agreement for the services.
Council heard a first reading of a bill amending Title 20 of the Sparks Municipal Cove to revise definitions, permitted uses, landscaping, density, parking and design standards.
