#nvflood17 Sparks update #10, Keep Flood Protection Measures in Place for Now

Sparks, NV – The City of Sparks and National Weather Service strongly recommend the public to keep flood mitigation measures in place for the next 1 to 2 weeks. Closely monitor the weather and news.

Business in Sparks’ industrial area should maintain sandbags and not return them.  


The City has maintained two sandbag stations

  • 3300 Sparks Blvd (Shadow Mountain Sports Complex)
  • 2901 N. Truckee Lane (Shelly Park)


Sparks Flood Hotline, 775-353-5555, is available to report any flooding issues in the City.  The hotline will be answered by city personnel during normal business hours
