Sparks, NV – The heat of summer is building and so is the excitement. Join us for the events in downtown Victorian Square and at the Sparks Marina!
JetJam WestCoast Series
June 3-4, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Closed course Jet Ski racing at the Sparks Marina! Racing includes Endurance Racing and a Freestyle event. (Note: The dog park located on the south side of the Marina will be closed to the public on Friday, June 2 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, June 3 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, June 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. while the jet skis are on the water).
39 North Marketplace
Thursdays, June 8 – August 17 (off 8/10), 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A modern approach on a classic street fair, 39 North Marketplace unites local artisans and farmers alike. We showcase the best in art and crafts and highlight produce and specialty food from local farmers.
Kids Free Fishing Day
June 10, 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Kids Free Fishing Day is an event that gives our local youth the opportunity to catch a fish and gives away free fishing poles and food to those that come to participate. No registration needed. On June 8, there will be a Special Needs Day for all ages from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
June 10, Noon to 4 p.m. (VIP opens at 11 a.m.)
Celebrate the last day of Craft Brew Week at this fun event featuring exclusive collaborative beers from local brewers. This festival focuses on our local brewers creating imaginative beers that highlight what they do best. The ticket ($40) includes a taster cup, endless tastings plus yummy treats. Proceeds benefit the Nevada Craft Brewers Association (www.nvbeer.com).

Dash for Dads

4th Annual Father’s Day Dash for Dads. A fundraiser for cancer patients in need of financial medical assistance. 5K timed run, 2 mile walk and a Kids Fun Run.
SCHEELS Paddle Sports Demo
June 24, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Come out to the Marina to try the latest paddle boards and kayaks of the season.
Sierra Nevada Lavender & Honey Festival
June 25, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Join us in this “scent-sational” new event featuring all things lavender and honey: lavender and honey products, arts and crafts, food, demonstrations, music, entertainment and more.

Annual Independence Day Celebration featuring two days of fireworks and festivities in downtown Sparks on Victorian Square.
Saturday, July 1: All-American Block Party & Fireworks Show – Live music, crafts, food vendors, VIP BBQ Party, free fireworks show from the Nugget rooftops and more.
Tuesday, July 4: Star Spangled Sparks – Live music, crafts, food vendors, VIP BBQ Party, patriotic bike parade, free July 4th Fireworks Spectacular show and more.
